Description

It’s time to come clean with Aunt Jackie’s Sulfate-Free moisturizing, clarifying shampoo that removes impurities, build-up and residue from frequent use of tacky, waxy, or oily hair care products. But don’t fret! Unlike most clarifying shampoos, it deep cleans and hydrates, so your hair doesn’t feel dry, rough, and stripped. Aloe and Apple Cider Vinegar leave hair and scalp feeling super clean, while Grapeseed & Jojoba Oils & Coconut Milk soften and seal in moisture. Excellent for all hair types and textures.

Thoroughly wet hair, then work in a moderate amount of Power Wash into hair, gently massaging into hair and scalp. Do not vigorously shampoo. For thicker, coarser textures that are prone to tangles, starting at the roots, shampoo by gently raking fingers through hair, all the way to the ends, carefully working through tangles. Rinse thoroughly and then repeat to ensure hair and scalp are clean, and impurities have been rinsed away. Shampoo hair weekly or biweekly for best results. Gently remove excess water from hair and follow with any Aunt Jackie’s conditioner.

Great for Sisterlocs!

I bought at random on a trip and it was okay. I put it in the back of my cabinet when I got home. However, I recenter found it and decided to try it again, and I'm so happy I did! I have sisterlocs (16 yrs) and need a good clarifying to help remove dirt, lint, and buildup. This does it so I don't have to do a baking soda-acv detox. Keep in mind, acv naturally dries your hair, so you must follow up with a deep hydrating conditioner. It may leave your hair dry or tacky the first couple of washes, but that's expected the first few washes when guck is coming out your hair. Now, it leaves my hair and scalp feeling super clean, and I don't have bad dry scalp flaking anymore.

Great Products for 4b Hair

I used this a couple of days ago on my hair, and my hair now looks and feels fantastic! I’ve never used a Clarifying shampoo before, and this is the cleanest and healthiest my hair has felt in years! I also used the deep Conditioning Masque. My hair feels healthy and hydrated which is exactly what I wanted.

Amazingly cleaned

I bought this a month ago and it cleans my hair so good . It does strip but that’s what I need for my scalp. It really is amazing , I was shocked

Great cleanser but leaves my scalp dry

I’ve been using Aunt Jackie’s Power Wash for a while now, and honestly, it’s a great product when it comes to removing buildup and leaving my hair feeling clean and refreshed. It lathers really well and smells amazing too!

However, I’ve noticed that every time I use it, my scalp feels really dry and itchy afterward. I love what it does for my curls and how it deep cleans, but the dryness makes it uncomfortable, especially a day or two later.

I’m still using it because it works, but I really hope the brand considers reformulating or adding more scalp-soothing ingredients. If they could reduce the drying effect, it would definitely be a 5-star holy grail!

Great at getting rid of product build up. I use 1-2 times as needed (until I start to feel a little lather) then follow up with a moisturizing shampoo.

Extremely drying

This had my hair extremely dry and tangled after washing. You would need an extremely good moisturizing conditioner to follow up with after to help the drying effect. Never buying this again
